Anne English

Anne is an analytical strategist and prior management consultant with more than twenty years of experience. She has diverse functional expertise across varying industries (CPG, Technology, Media, Finance & Non-Profit). She has worked for large consulting firms (Accenture and Booz & Co.) and Unilever (Analytics). Early in her career, Anne spent five years gaining invaluable operating experience as the third employee at a Fintech start-up (Sageworks). The company was later sold to a private equity firm.

Anne moved to N.C. in 2019 after spending a decade in Hong Kong where she ran Bamboo Strategic Advisors. The company worked side-by-side women Founders to provide tailored, strategic advisory services to surpass scaling hurdles and implement solutions. Anne became Chief Strategy Officer of Allobee in March 2020. Allobee is a cutting-edge managed marketplace that is a one-stop business solution designed for small businesses and startups, that connects clients to a vetted, underutilized workforce of women who have left the 9 to 5. Allobee was acquired.

She has a M.B.A. from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and graduated magna cum laude in both Economics and Psychology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Anne enjoys spending her free time travelling with her husband and boys.
