Our Story

Brooks Bell, Sarah Beran and Christine Bronstein were successful professionals. And then the unthinkable happened: they were diagnosed with late stage colorectal cancer (CRC) in the prime of their lives. Sarah and Brooks were in their 30s. Chris was in her late 40s. They were otherwise so healthy- with no family history of colorectal cancer-that they had to fight to get the correct diagnosis and treatment.


The silver lining? All three are currently in remission and dedicated to changing the way people think about colonoscopies. By becoming colonoscopy enthusiasts they have already saved lives. Even though colorectal cancer is serious, sad and scary, preventing it is not.


 A colonoscopy is the only way to actively prevent colon and rectal cancer because it painlessly snips out a super-common precursor to cancer called a polyp. About 30% of people in their 40s have polyps. We have to find them before it's too late. It's now one of the most powerful and essential parts of a health and wellness lifestyle. Because early onset CRC rates are rising so quickly-it is the number one cancer killer of men under 50 and number two for women under 50- the recommended age was lowered from 50 to 45 for people with no symptoms.


Worldclass is the first apparel brand to bring attention to colonoscopies and gut wellness, while also increasing access to them for those who can't afford them.

At the age of 38, Brooks's life took a dramatic turn when she was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. This personal battle reshaped her focus, propelling her into a leading role in public health advocacy. Through initiatives like Lead From Behind and 50ColonoscopiesUnder50.org, she has significantly raised awareness about the importance of early detection, contributing to a nationwide increase in colonoscopy screenings.

Meet Sarah Beran, a Los Angeles-based stylist and Co-Founder/Creative Director of Worldclass Clothing, whose remarkable journey through the fashion industry and personal life embodies resilience and purpose. However, it was her profound battle with colon cancer at the tender age of 34, amidst the chaos of a global pandemic, that truly redefined her purpose and vision. Facing the unimaginable with young children at home, Sarah's world was upended. Yet, in the face of adversity, she chose to fight, undergoing multiple surgeries and enduring the rigors of chemotherapy and radiation. This journey of courage, underpinned by faith, family love, and a warrior's spirit, led her to a triumphant cancer-free status, though she remains vigilant with regular screenings.

Christine Bronstein

Christine Bronstein had fatigue for many years. Doctors told her it was her hormones, her work schedule, having children or a scientifically undiagnosable syndrome. It turns out it was cancer. She had to advocate for a colonoscopy after seeing blood in her stool one time. Her GP at the time told her she was healthy and didn't have cancer. When she was eventually diagnosed with stage-III colorectal cancer, she used advocacy to help her cope with the fear and difficult emotions.

Chief Operating Officer

Anne is an analytical strategist and prior management consultant with more than twenty years of experience. She has diverse functional expertise across varying industries (CPG, Technology, Media, Finance & Non-Profit). She has worked for large consulting firms (Accenture and Booz & Co.) and Unilever (Analytics). Early in her career, Anne spent five years gaining invaluable operating experience as the third employee at a Fintech start-up (Sageworks). The company was later sold to a private equity firm.
